My family will be spending 2 weeks in Dingle and need a pool and gym for a competitive swimmer in our group. Where would the closest be? Thanks for any help.

The only pool available is in the Skellig Hotel, I think its about 20 metres long. A decent facility and you should be able to use it for €10 a go. Very quiet in the evenings and opens from about 7am to 10pm.
Theres a decent gym there also.
If you really want a world-class gym then check out 'West Kerry Fitness', its close to the centre of Dingle.
If you're competitive swimmer needs shoulder-muscle workouts, I'll offer my two Irish Wolfhounds, Seamus & Saoirse (freedom) for daily walks. No charge ;)
