Is it possible to leave Kilkenny in the morning of April 23 2024 and arrive at the airport by 10am?
Train from Kilkenny, taxi to airport from train station. 12:50 departure time.
Are we cutting it too close? Should we stay near the airport the night before?

Looking at Irish Rail, https://www.irishrail.ie/en-ie/, and Dublin Coach, https://www.dublincoach.ie/all-timetables, it looks possible to take either the train or the bus and arrive in time for your flight. The bus has the advantage of dropping you off at the airport. But I personally would spend the night before in Dublin. But that's just me.

Thank you. I see that trains leave at 630 or 730 and arrive at Heuston in time to catch a taxi. You are probably right about going the night before just for peace of mind.

The first bus from Kilkenny at 0440 arrives at the airport at 0630 after a change at The Red Cow LUAS stop, Dublln. The 0740 bus (arrive 0930 via The Red Cow) is too tight.
