Anyone booked a train for this? How do I get a point A to B ticket? How do I find a schedule for this?

The majority of the time you take a Cork train to Limerick Junction, then a shuttle train to Limerick (Colbert). Some hours that train goes through to Ennis, some hours it is another change of trains at Colbert.
But all the trains wait for each other. It is well rehearsed choreography.
The more scenic route is to take a Galway train, then change at Galway or Oranmore to come down the Western Rail Corridor. Normally the change is at Oranmore, and again is slick.
