We are interested in a private driver and our own choice and destinations for day trips while visiting Limerick, Cork, Clare, Dingle Kinsale and Aran Islands. Pick up at Shannon. Has anyone hired a company/driver they liked? We are not driving, so please don't suggest it. :) I've been over before and did that with a friend years ago. Now we want to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Yes. I used this company in Ecuador for a day trip. It was great.

My understanding was it’s more like booking via a 3rd party, they aren’t vetting or guaranteeing anything about the locals giving tours.

We had one experience in St. Petersburg a few years ago and it was positive. Then you could review the different guides and correspond with them by email, working out details or determining if you’re a good match.

We used them in Valencia. The guide was obviously not a career guide, but was well prepared and fun to be with.
