I plan on having an afternoon, about 4 hours to tour the Burren. Any suggestions on how best to spend my time. I will have a car, but we can do some hiking as well, depending on time constraints. Thanks, Rich
I went on a half day walking tour. The terrain is tricky due to all the rocks but it was still worth it. This was ten years ago and I no longer remember the name of the guide (I was staying at Gregan's Castle hotel near Ballyvaughan and they arranged it).
Why not start at the Burren National Park Visitor Center, where there are helpful docents who can provide maps, suggest hiking trails, and generally get you oriented.
Thanks, That's what we've decided to do. I could spend days in an area like this. Unfortunately it's like every vacation. So much to do, so little time!
