Hi everyone,
Planning a trip to Ireland this summer (July30 thru August 9) we land in Dublin, rent a car and drive west. Cork for a day then on to Dingle, Ring of Kerry, Westport, Donegal and back to Dublin for a couple of days. My question is what are some of the places to see on the way to Donegal. I love the ocean and its views but would love some suggestions of what to see by the ocean or inland. Thank You!!

I am a little confused by your itinerary. Cork is actually south of Dublin (well, southwest), and you pass the Ring of Kerry before you get to Dingle. So are you planning on backtracking to RoK after Dingle? After Dingle, you could take the Tarbert-Killimer ferry across the River Shannon, and head up to the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. You will also be passing Galway on your way north, so you might consider a stop there. Without more information about your timing (how many overnight stops and where, for one thing?), and some information about what you are interested in, it's difficult to give you better answers.
