In Killarney we greatly enjoyed the Celtic Steps.....it's Irish song and dance....highly recommended. Not a bad idea to get those in advance. Also in Killarney we really enjoyed just wandering around Old Killarney town in the evenings...there's good pub food and street musicians including a gentleman playing the bagpipes and a couple of great ice cream shops if you're so inclined. So peaceful and relaxing.
Torc Waterfall was gorgeous and it's only five minutes from downtown.
We very much regret our timing was such that we missed the Irish Night at Kate Kearney's cottage. Also ran out of time and couldn't experience the Gap of Dunloe....they have what I call buggy rides over the Gap of Dunloe. We've heard great things about both of those.

Yay, thanks for the suggestions! We won't be spending much time in killarney unfortunately.

A few questions...

We will be driving from Dingle and dropping a family member off at the train station in Killarney and maybe grab a a snack somewhere to check out the town. We would like to do the Gap of Dunloe, Mucross House and Torc Waterfall. By the end of that day, we need to make it to Kenmare.

Can we do all this in one day? I believe Torc is a fairly quick stop and then we'd drive through Moll's Gap. The total google map time for this entire drive is about 2.15 hours...which I know will actually be closer to 3 hours maybe?

We'd be coming from Killarney to gap of dunloe in our rental car, so the best would be to drive and park at kate's cottage and go from there? we were thinking of riding bikes...is this only for super fit people/is it uphill? we are mid-30's and generally healthy...well, hubby could stand to lose some beer weight :) Maybe we should just do part of it if we don't have enough time?

Mucross house...how long does this generally take? buy tickets in advance?

Thanks for all your help!
