I have a private tour scheduled for our party of 9 for 5 days around Ireland. From what I've read 10% tip is customary for good service, but for the cost of this tour is quite a bit. Not sure if 10% is expected. It was booked through a company, so I would imagine the driver is hired for the job. Thoughts?

Here is where I may differ from other people. You have already paid this guide for a private tour. Unless the service was way beyond what you expected, I would have to wonder if you even need to tip.
The guide quoted a price for his services and you have paid that price.
