I'm not sure if this is the 'right' place for this, but on the basis that many questions in this forum ask about driving routes to consider, especially in the West, please have a glance at the following website, 'The Wild Atlantic Way', originated by the Irish Tourist Board. Its ideas are certainly worth considering when building your travel plans. I can personally vouch for the fact that it is well-signposted; I was in Donegal for 2 weeks earlier in the Summer, and saw plenty of signs!
It is claimed that in total it is the longest named coastal drive in Europe.
