We will be making our first trip to Ireland from the US and arriving in the middle of June 2022 at 11:40am (on a Tuesday).
I am sure it can vary wildly but is there a SWAG number for how long it will take to go through the clearances on the Dublin end once we leave the plane (we are going to try to use just carry on this time)? We will be picking up a WifiCandy hot spot and then on to the rental car. I am not sure what time to put down for us to pick up the rental car...
What does SWAG mean?
Here in Hollywood, CA it refers to high end gifts bestowed upon talent attending the Oscars, Grammies, and Emmys.

The time to book the car doesn't really need to be so specific. I'd put it down for 12:30, know that showing up to the desk 30 mins either side isn't going to affect the reservation.
*The SWAG Claudia refers to in Hollywood is the only use I know. Stuff We All Get.

Thanks for the reply's. And PAM was close :) Sorry should have been more specific and not used SWAG (just looking for a good estimate). I have the car reserved and originally told them 12:00 - 13:00 but was second guessing myself not knowing what to expect after we land. We paid a little extra to have the car waiting at the terminal instead of taking the shuttle to their location (Budget). Trying to make the most of the time we have in Ireland.
This will be our first outside of the US flight for us.

Two tips - don't stop for the restroom - that put us way back in a long line, even though we were one of the first off the plane. And, have your list of accommodations handy. I am unsure how much detail they really want, but we were cleared very fast after I handed over my spreadsheet of our itinerary. In 2019, we were asked where we were staying, so I just pulled up the list and showed her.
Perfect thanks :) I will have a printout of everything for all 3 of us so that might help. I did email Budget to ask them to move our car pickup time window from 12:00-13:00 to 12:30-13:30.
