We are arriving in Dublin on Monday, May 30 for a 10 day trip to include Northern Ireland and over to Donegal/Sligo. I see that there are three bank holidays over the next week ~
Thursday, June 2 Spring Bank Holiday Northern Ireland
Friday, June 3 this is an extension of the June 2 holiday, to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee
Monday, June 6th Spring Bank Holiday in Ireland
What do these holidays mean for business openings, museums and such? I imagine the Irish will be traveling over the long weekend which may impact hotel accommodations. What about restaurants?
We actually have some flexibility in our schedule so could do the Ireland/No. Ireland portion at the end of our three week stay in Europe. Any thoughts are welcome. Thank you.
