For our first day, we are driving from Dublin to Kinvara. We'll be leaving the airport about 12:00pm and arriving at Kinvara about 5:00, taking it easy and getting to bed early. I'm looking for things between those two places. I have found a few things that look promising and am looking to see if you have any suggestions.
Some of the things that have looked good are Charlesville Forest Castle, Belvedere House, Birr Catstle and a light hike in the Slieve Bloom mountains. Since we would like to be in Kinvara relatively early, I'll only have time for one or two things. Any recommendations from that list, or something I haven't heard of yet?
