In The Best of Ireland 2016 Rick specifies the showing of this painting limited to Monday and Wedesday for 1 specified hour each of the two possible days. The current days state on the National gallery are different, and another site suggests 4 days a week 1 hour daily. We will check as soon as we arrive. What I am asking is for guidance as to viewing so as not to miss is due to lines and crowding.
We are desperately hoping to experience this beautiful painting face to face. What has been your experience?

If the question is should you trust a two-year-old guidebook or the gallery’s own website for correct timings/days, hmmmm... I suggest the gallery’s website. It says Thursdays and Sundays.

Yes. That’s the painting. I am wondering if there are long lines and crowds, so you are lucky to catch a brief glance. Are their awarenesses needed to the optimize viewing opportunity?
