Any reviews of visiting the National Botanic Gardens of Ireland in Dublin? Buses go from downtown, so I thought I'd try one morning before my tour starts. Some can be majestic and amazing and others, small and not quite worth the bus ride. Reviews welcome.
Hello from Wisconsin,
I can not speak to the Gardens. I too have found some astounding. Right nearby is the Gravedigger's Pub. Go eat in this 1833 structure. And Glasnevin Cemetery is right there too. Now, my wife and I always enjoy a nice cemetery, and this is one.

thank you Wayne, I like the sound of that combo.
I liked it. Nice walk about then enjoyed lunch at John Kavanagh Pub. Also strolled about the cemetary to find Michael Collins grave.
I was in Dublin before the Pandemic. We stayed in a nice B&B in Glasnevin and walked to the Gardens, Cemetery and Pub. If you're in a rush you can cover all 3 in an afternoon. The Gardens are nice, but I really liked the Cemetery. If you happened to be there on a Sunday afternoon, they have an historical tour that is very good. We rode the bus from Glasnevin into Dublin every day with no trouble. It took less than a half-hour. Taking the bus from Dublin to Glasnevin you should have no trouble. It leaves from the center of town.
