Thatched roof cottage accommodations?

Do any RS followers know of any white-washed, thatched roof lodgings with fireplaces and excellent breakfast, tea? Doing the West Coast starting around Dingle and moving along to Upper Coast to Giant's Causeway. Early to mid October.

Not a lodging like you describe, but I did want to give a suggestion for the Bayview Hotel in Port Ballintrae when you are at Giant’s Causeway. One of our favorites of our trip.

For the cottage you should google “cottages for rent, Ireland” and it should bring up several agencies and their websites.

On our visit to Dingle in 2011, we stayed down the road at The Nest, a short bike ride or drive (or easy taxi on a rainy night) from Dingle. Dong a quick search just now I see it's still being rented out, and Louise (a Brit with a home next door for when she visits Ireland) is still the owner. It's not a quite dried-thatch roofed cottage (like the Man of Aran cottage where we stayed on Inishmore, which is sadly no longer a lodging option), but has a grass "eco-roof." The bedroom overlooks the conservatory room build on the side of the cottage. It's small but worked well for us, with a very usable kitchen and dining table, and a peat brick-burning heating stove (metal, but not a stone fireplace). It's not a B&B, but Louise's associate met us without bikes at the local supermarket, let us buy provisions then drove them in her car to The Nest as we pedaled to it. Barry's Irish Breakfast tea is the one you'll want in Ireland. Maybe not exactly what you described, but very charming very Irish, and very unique, and a great price! I don't know if there are other options for booking, like a direct website or contacting the owner, but my quick search turned up this Airb&b link: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/935730. We'd stay there again in an instant! We're visiting Ireland for our second time in 3 weeks, starting in Galway but heading north this time, and will be leaving in early October. Hope we all get good weather this fall!

A simple google search brought up this website. Looks like there are a few of them out there. Not sure if any of these are on your route but worth checking out.
