I am wondering what Pub life is like on Sundays in Dublin. I am planning a trip to Dublin in January and our last day will be on Sunday. I was wondering if I should plan day trip from Dublin on Sunday based on Pub activity on Sunday. Is Dublin dull on Sundays? Thanks.
Sunday is one of the busiest days of the week for Dublin pubs. Most open around noon, though there are some that open as early as 9 AM.
Many here recommend the Literary Pub Crawl as an organized way to combine a historical walking tour with visits to some of the most venerable pubs in the Temple Bar area. Can search this forum for reviews, and Google it for schedules and pricing. Am pretty sure they're open on Sunday.
