Sunday Dinner in Dublin

It appears that a lot of restaurants are closed on Sundays.

Any recommendations? Besides a pub?

We really enjoyed the Boxty house in Temple bar, They are open Sundays. Great authentic, Irish food.

I highly recommend one of the following. Excellent food either way! As far as I can tell, both restaurants are open on Sundays.

THE BANK ON COLLEGE GREEN: Located on College Green near Trinity College; gorgeous interior, especially the ceiling. Delicious food, relaxed atmosphere.

IL VICOLETTO: Fantastic Italian restaurant in the Temple Bar area. It's so Italian that I could barely understand our Italian waiter's English. They apparently make their own pasta, too. The restaurant is fairly small and very popular, so I recommend calling or visiting it earlier in the day to make a reservation.

Alex, we ate at The Farm restaurant on Dawson Street, it was very good, and mid-range price wise. Open til 11 on Sundays; I see they now have a second Dublin location, and it's RS recommended too.

I'll second the recommendation for the Farm located near Grafton. We ate there twice in June and found the food very good. Consider a reservation if you want to be sure of a table at the time of your choosing.
