We would live to spend a night near the park during our trip in June. We will be driving from Dublin - hoping not too far for one day. Any suggestions for B & B or hotel near park? Friars Glen is booked. We plan to explore park the next day before heading to Dingle.

There is a website that has hundreds of B&Bs listed by regions:

I believe you can book directly from the website and there are descriptions, pictures, etc. I have cross compared the ones I am interested in on TripAdvisor and made choices based on reviews by other travelers. Good luck!

There are so many good hotels and B&Bs in Killarney!
The Lake hotel is right on the lake as you'd imagine from the title. But I could name you ten others equally good.
Enjoy Killarney and be sure to take a jaunting car ride through the park! All the Jarveys (more and carriage riders) are characters, I happen to enjoy Mike O'Grady a lot

Stephen-I have to ask you, is this Mike O'Grady? We had a terrifically fun ride with "Michael" two years ago, he was just delightful, as was his horse, Misty.
