Our small group of friends would like to spend a day in Belfast en route to Derry, but need a place to stash our luggage while we tour. We plan to do a black cab tour and stay for dinner. Stasher makes it appear that most storage locations are already booked for August.
Does anyone have experience with this that can give me some pointers? We are traveling by train, so something near the station would be ideal.
Stasher is usually a side line for businesses with their own thinsg to do, and I spotted something relevant, you said stay for dinner. So what time did you ask for pickup? When I clicked on 8pm-9pm most were showing "Full" but when changed to 5pm-6pm a lot of those had space. I'd say there is a software design fault and Full could also mean Closed!
The other words that stand out are "near the station", the Derry trains start at Grand Central but also pick up at Lanyon Place and York Street which are equally (in)convenient for the city centre (they also call at Botanic but that is too far out). So what did you give Stasher as an address? Based on using a central address it looks like your best bet will be one of the Premier Inn Hotels (City Centre or Cathedral Quarter but not Titantic...)
