We will be taking a train from Dublin to Galway, then renting a car to drive to Doolin same day. We'd like to spend a couple of hours in Galway and wonder if there are storage lockers at the train station to store our luggage (carry-on size). Anyone have a suggestion for lunch and must see site in Galway?

nay-well they do hide this information well, don't they? I found this though:
There is a limited left-luggage service (not lockers) in Ceannt Station / Galway Railway Station, which is also used by Bus Éireann.
Hours: 9am - 6pm, Monday - Friday. No access is possible outside these hours.
To get to it, use the Platform entrance beside the ticket office: the luggage office is at the far end of the platform.
