We're starting our Ireland trip by flying into Belfast, then, after a few days, traveling by train to Dublin. We're looking for a Rick Stevesy sort of lodging near the Belfast Central train station as we'll be relying on public transportation. A small inn or B and B would be preferred, but we'll consider any good recommendation. Thanks.
It's not very 'Rick Stevesy,' but the Clayton Hotel is a very short taxi ride from the train station, and a 5 minute walk to Belfast City Hall. Close to lots of eateries and pubs. Reasonably priced.
City centre Premiere inn. Personally I'd try the Avenue Guest House in South Belfast. Don't miss the Titanic Museum nor the Gaol. Fascinating city. Enjoy.
