May be visiting Cliffs of Mohrer area in late April or early May.
Is the view obscured more or less during that time of year?
Nobody knows unfortunately. Irish weather is unpredictable until a few days beforehand. Best to check what it's like on the day you plan to visit.
My experience ws last week of April first week of May 2017. We were on the west coast, Cong, Doolin, Dingle, Kenmare and during that period none of our plans were totally washed out. We had rain off and on a couple of days but luckily for us those two weeks were basically, cool, mixed clouds and sun...great weather for hiking IMO. My over all assessment was the weather during that time period had no detrimental affect on our vacation time and did not limit how wonderful things are in west Ireland. We had great views of both the Cliffs of Moher and the Cliffs of Kerry...windy but great views. An unexpected plus for us was the first weekend in May there was a music and arts festival in Dingle (bankers holiday weekend) and it was really great.
