I am looking for small group tours of Ireland. I would prefer the group size to be no more than 18. i have looked at Rick Steves and Tauck but their group sizes are larger than I really want. So far, I have found Vagabond and Wolfhound Tours. If anyone has traveled with either of these tour companies, I would be interested in your opinion. Of course, if anyone has info on any other small group tour operators for Ireland, please share your experience. Thanks so much!

Martin Randall: this would be excellent tho' expensive [10-22 max.]
ACE Cultural Tours: less expensive but good [15- 25 max.]
Andante Travel: prehistoric focus [ [15- 25 max., average 18]
Or do it yourself, self-drive or train/bus, with accommodation and all connections assured and excellent back-up from a highly regarded Scottish company. Elsewhere they do offer small group guided tours, but none in Irelend at present.
