Should I book ahead for Dublin hotels or wait for deals?

Wondering if I should book now for Dublin hotesl in October or wait a little bit to see if they drop rates as it gets closer? Any thoughts or recommendations on best advice? Do you think prices will drop or are they pretty set?

I would book now so you get your dates, then change hotels if you find a better deal (make sure you know the cancellation policy)).
