I have 7 days in September. We are staying in Adare and landing in Dublin. Top things we should see? We will have a rental car. Suggestions appreciated!

Days are getting shorter and to get to most sights takes driving time. Take a look at Cliffs of Moher and the Burren (you are early enough for a cruise down below, if that is of interest); the cliff walk at Balleybunion, with maybe a stop in Listowel; Rock of Cashel & Cahir Castle; and I want to see the Rock of Dunamaise. And of course Adare itself is cute - we plan to have afternoon tea at Adare Manor for a treat.
If you have one of those cheap one week packages, you might want to do what we did and add a bit of extra money to our cost in order to stay overnight somewhere else - to cut down on driving. We are driving to Killarney and spending a night. And are leaving Adare a day early and spending our last night in Dublin, both to make catching our flight easier and for a bit more sightseeing. We plan to see the Long Room and the Book of Kells.
It will go fast!
