Sheep herding in Ireland, best location

I am interested in finding a sheep herding demonstration for one member of our group traveling in October. Does anyone have a suggestion where we could do this? Traveling from Shannon, Ring of Kerry then to Dublin but plans are not finished yet.

We visited the Caherconnell Fort and watched the sheepdog demonstration. We enjoyed it, but due to the heat (90 degrees when we were there) it was cut a little short for the safety of the dogs and other animals. We purchased tickets online and printed the email before leaving home, showed it at the counter, and walked right in.

Kissane Sheep Farm. http://www.kissanesheepfarm.com/

Great demonstration; spectacular setting. 30 minutes south of Killarney on the Ring road. If interested, be sure to confirm the dates/times on the website calendar -- the schedule is a bit erratic.

We went to Atlantic Sheepdogs in Grange and it was fantastic. Not sure if your travels take you that far north but if so, definitely worth it. We loved Jack the sheepdog & the wonderful sheep. Plus we got to hold a baby lamb for a little while, as the mother bleeted nonstop. It was a highlight of our trip to Ireland last year.
