Shannon to Ennis for start of RS Tour

We fly into Shannon, spend the night there, for RS tour beginning the next day in Ennis. I know there are busses (which may be too slow) and taxis. Can't find approximate price for Taxi or similar ride service. What is recommended?

This may not help you if you are not departing from the Shannon airport but ...we did this tour in 2022 and transferred straight to Ennis from Shannon Airport. Its a relatively quick easy ride. . Picked up a Taxi at the Airport stand. Fare was in the 50ish Euro range plus TIP (Guessing more like 60ish now). The taxi driver was a hoot.

Attaching our tour packet instructions from 2022(hope they are still using Old Ground Hotel, it was great) for your viewing pleasure.

Shannon Airport to Old Ground Hotel
By Bus
Bus Eireann operates routes #51 (Expressway) and #343, from Shannon Airport to Ennis (Bus Station),
alternating regular departures hourly. The trip takes about 30-45 minutes. Buy it from the driver or book ahead of time online at www.buseireann.ie.The Ennis bus station is located on a dead-end street called Station View, about a 10-minute walk from the
hotel. Follow Station View to Quin Road (R649). Turn left onto Quin Road. Quin Road soon becomes Station
Road at the roundabout. Continue walking ahead on Station Road until you reach O’Connell St, then turn right.
The entrance to the Old Ground Hotel is just ahead on the right.

By Taxi
A taxi from the airport to the hotel costs about €40-50 and will take around 20-30 minutes. Fares are more
expensive on Sundays and public holidays
