September in Ireland

We are visiting Ireland in September with 2 friends who have not been there. My husband and I have been lucky enough to visit twice before but still novices- our itinerary as of now is:

Day 1- fly into Dublin, get rental car and drive to Wexford/Waterford. Stay the night
Day 2/3 Kinsale with visits to cork(friends there) Blarney Castle etc.
Day 4/5 Killarney with trips to Dingle and Ring of Kerry etc.
Day 6 Drive to Galway- visit Cliffs of Moher- stay the night
Day 7/8 Drive to Dublin- pub crawl, Guinness storehouse, etc.
Day 9 fly Home

We loved the southern parts of Ireland our first trip so we're concentrating our time there. We've done Sligo, Westport, Clifden and Galway on our second visit. Are there alternative little towns that are better to stay in? I'm thinking of changing a night to stay in Dingle. No one seems to love Killarney but they had a B&B there we really enjoyed. We'll use these places as home bases for day. trips.

Definitely stay in Dingle. Have a pint at Foxy John's. in between Killarney and Dingle visit the Gap of Dunloe. Enjoy your visit.
