I have brought a monitored self test for trip home. I did one months ago and remember the testing material must remain in sight. Perhaps this is a stupid question but I can’t envision how to do with tablet knowing I need both hands to test. Has someone tested successfully with tablet or phone?
Traveling solo, or with a partner? If alone, there are ways to make it work. Just prepare to get creative (or make a friend).
My tablet is in a protective case that folds open. I just stood it upright (portrait mode), and the case held the tablet in position. Simple.
Why not get a lightweight tablet stand?
Something like this:
I am using a iPad Pro with a Magic keyboard so not a problem. But for you I suggest being creative. Pour a pint of Guinness in a glass and use it to prop up the tablet. After you take the test and show negative you can drink the pint in celebration! If it comes up positive then you can drown your sorrows......
Just make sure your tablet does not fall over (into the floor) just as you are putting the drops in the test card! Ask me how I know!
Ideal to have travel mate hold the tablet phone if possible.
