Is anyone aware of a self serve laundry near Buswell's in Dublin? Thanks, Norm
We used All American Laundrette. It’s full service and there were a few self service washers and dryers as well. As I recall we had to wait a bit to use since they were full. It’s about a 10 min walk from Buswells. . It’s been a number of years since we were there so you may want to confirm with the hotel.
Thanks -good to know but it looks like they are not open Sundays when we’ll need to do the laundry.norm
Go into Google maps and put in laundry in the search. It will pop up both self serve laundry and laundry services. I have used this method all over Europe as I try to travel light and have to do laundry every fourth day sometimes.
Can you have the laundry done on Saturday or Monday instead? If so, the hotel offers same day laundry/dry cleaning. It will be more expensive, but also more convenient than doing it yourself.

I was just at this hotel a few weeks ago. Enjoy your trip.
We ended up using Cauzon laundry @ 19B Cauzon Portobello-a short taxi ride from Buswells. It was the only place open Sunday AM & the owners let us do our own wash & dry-lovely folks.
Cost for a BIG bag of laundry w&d was 17.50 Euros-cash only. We’d use them again.

Over many trips, we've evolved away from wasting hours waiting for the dryer, or having clothes strung across the hotel room, and instead find services at whatever the cost. Wasting hours that you could be sightseeing or maybe just sitting in a pub is well worth it, to us. When I look at the total cost of a trip, daylight hours are worth far more than a wash&fold service.
Most of our trips include at least a few two-night stays, in which case you can always find laundry somewhere. Many B&B's will do it even if not advertised - don't be afraid to ask politely via email in advance. My trip planning spreadsheets always include laundry access from the get go. Just put your lodging into Google Maps and ask for nearby laundry. We always do three week trips with usually two laundry jobs, which lets us travel with just carry-ons with a week's worth of clothes.
