Airfare on Ryanair is significantly less than on British Airways or Air Lingus. I'm interested in your experiences with Ryanair. We will be flying from Gatwick to Dublin. Thanks.
I've flown Ryan Air Dublin to Glasgow. It's a short flight and so it's fine. You just need to make sure you follow all the rules about boarding passes and carry on and checked luggage sizes. We paid up for the checked bag and the ability to choose our seats. They do check bag sizes so don't try to "risk it". The seats are very uncomfortable but manageable for a short hop across the Irish Sea. The whole flight is spent with the flight attendants trying to sell you stuff. Just put in your air pods.
Ryanair is just fine as long as you know you are getting a no-frills flight. I use it all the time.
Thanks so much! We recently missed our flight from LHR o Belfast City airport after spending 1.5 hours in the security line. We rebooked on the next light, but our bags remained at LHR. They were delivered to our hotel in Belfast on the evening of the next day.
