Having bought a Ryanair flight for this summer from Birmingham to Dublin, I'm getting lots of advertising from them. One recent email advertised very very low prices on car rentals in Ireland. It looked appealing, but there was no offer for inclusive insurance that I could see. All the rentals had very large deductibles. I decided to stay with my AutoEurope booking and keep the better insurance. However, the prices were incredible. Does anyone have any experience booking a car rental through Ryanair? They use a wide assortment of rental agencies but not usually the majors afaik.

No experience renting using them - but if you know the name of the car company, can you contact them to ask about the rates for better insurance? You know they'll offer it to you when you show up to pick up the car. Just find how how much more that would be then compare that combined rate to Auto Europe's.
