RT airfare from Boston to Shannon for late Sept.--early Oct.??

I see prices now are about $950 per person but Air Lingus is offering a sale for the spring for about $750. Should we book our tickets now at the higher price or wait and see if prices come down, the dollar has gotten much stronger and yet prices far out have not dropped as much as I thought they should...and prices have not dropped as the price of oil and gasoline have dropped.
Any advice and suggestions appreciated. We have vacationed in Ireland the last two Oct. and have had only four hours of rain in 18 days!!

We flew from Boston in mid-October 2013. We paid about $735 per person, and booked in late July. AerLingus tends to list its promotions only a few months in advance. If it were me, I'd wait, but that's up to your own risk tolerance.

I wouldn't bank much on the falling gas prices having much of an impact. Most airlines have prepaid on gas contracts for a year or more out (having incorrectly anticipated that gas prices would only continue to rise).

I would wait to book the airfare. It may come down. We went in Oct 2014, the airfare was around $800.

For $750.00 I would personally book at that price and not look back. Of course prices could go down but could also go up as well.
