Good great afternoon!
I am sitting in Colorado, looking at the new snow, and day dreaming of our first RS Tour this coming fall. My wife and I are doing the 8 day tour then staying after for two weeks of exploration on our own. I tried to stay several night in one area to maximize our time and cut down on our driving. When the tour ends, we will head over to trim for two nights, then we will head down to Bellinskelligs for, I hope, three nights and a successful landing on Skellig Michael. I have one long drive, unfortunately, when we head all the way to Derry. We will spend three nights in Derry and finish with two final nights in Dublin. Believe it or not, LOL, that is me slowing things down. I have ideas of what we want to see, but nothing will be a must, other than Skellig Michael.
Anyone else going on the RS tour at that time? It would be interesting to see what you might have in mind. Our interests are mainly the off the beaten path stuff. There are a couple of caves we will try to see, out of the way stone circles and a little known ruin is always a must. I am "that" guy who will be traveling with my drone, before everyone gets excited, I am very conscientious of how and where I fly and I am looking forward to seeing Ireland from the air.
We are counting the days till the trip and trying to locate unique experiences to try... That being said, any suggestions or ideas would be great and greatly appreciated. Also, If you are traveling on the RS tour at that time, it would be great to hear from you as well.
Thanks and best to you.
Jeff
