My husband and I and another couple are traveling to Ireland in September. We fly in/out of Shannon. The airfare is booked and we'd like to rent a car and stop at B&B's at our leisure over our 12-day visit. Would love advice on touring the west/southwest coast. Are there places off-the-beaten path you'd recommend we see? We'll book lodging our first and last nights there but have been told in September we shouldn't have trouble finding places along the way. Has anyone had a similar experience and can offer insight?
