We are looking at Ricks 21 day road trip in Aug. starting and ending in Dublin before flying off to Leeds. Any suggestions that diifer from his? Any exceptional b&b's along the way?

My main comment is that there are a lot of one night stops and there is quite a lot of driving involved every day. I'd plan on 28 days for this rathert than 21!
Check out driving distances on google maps and ADD on 25% to those times PLUS any time needed for stops. Driving in Ireland is slow and it will take a lot longer to cover distances than you might expect.
