Hello!
I am planning on renting a car and driving the Ring of Kerry in October. Few things:
Are there any sites off the beaten path, that may not be in guidebooks that would be neat to see? I like ruins the best and would love to hike places as well.
I already have accommodations in Kenmare and Portmagee (for the Skellig experience). I am looking for accommodations along the Ring between Portmagee and Killoglin for one night. Any suggestions on that??? Mountain views, lakes, in town, etc....
(Or... should I head outside the Ring? I have accommodations in Tralee the following day.)
