Rick's Driving Tour of the Burren-how long?

Perhaps this is two questions , or more, but we plan to be in Dingle then make our way up to Galway. The RS Guide book outlines a driving tour of the Burren, which we'd really like to experience.

So, how long to allow for the driving tour? Does this make it a two day trek from Dingle to Galway and, if so, what's the best route to take and where would you stop for the night?

A lot to ask. Thanks.

Will you have already driven the Dingle loop on an earlier day, and start fresh to depart that area when you go to the Burren? For instance, Dingle-Doolin and Doolin-Galway is about 5 hours driving time. But then allow plenty of poking around time, too, or serious hiking time if you are serious hikers. People doing it in two days often spend a night in Doolin, covered in the book. That's how I did it, once upon a time, but I also had plenty of time for my trip. Rick's guided bus tour does it all in one day.

Yes, we'll have completed the Dingle Peninsula loop and be headed up to Galway. I am thinking 2 days, maybe as we like to hike, but we'll have to look at the zillion other things on the list. Thanks.

You can go Dingle to Galway via the Burren and Cliffs of Moher in a day and still have time to stop and smell the flowers. Get an early start and make a few stops along the way. Are you going in the summer? Even better. We did this in February when it was early to get dark.
