Spend the night in Galway

August 8-9

Spend the night on Dingle Peninsula

August 9-10
Inch Beach, Slea Head Drive, explore the town of Dingle
Stay the night in Portmagee

August 10-11
Skellig Michael Cruise @ 9am (be back in Portmagee for 2pm) - drive to Cork and stay the night there

If you are planning to arrive in Shannon and drive through the Connemara region to Galway, it doesn't work that way. You would actually arrive in Galway on your way to the Connemera region.

But, if you are planning to drive from the airport up to the Connemera region then loop back to stay the night in Galway, I would just caution that would be A LOT of driving for a first day arrival.

I would also suggest staying in Kinsale instead of Cork, unless you have a personal reason to prefer Cork.

Enjoy your trip.

The drive from Dingle to Portmagee is about 3+ driving hours so that would be a rough drive after a long day. Portmagee to Cork is close to 5 hours and that's straight driving....which means you would be blowing past some of the most incredible scenery in Ireland without stopping.

Unless there is some family reason to go I'd skip Cork and especially Blarney. There are literally hundreds of things more interesting and time productive than waiting in lines to hang upside down to kiss a stone - especially with it being so far out of the way.

Strongly urge to skip Cork and spend more time in Connemara, Dingle or the Skellig Ring/Ring of Kerry area - whichever one interests you the most. They each could be explored for many days without exhausting their wonders.
