If you would indulge me just one more time. I've reviewed our trip plans and read my three guide books from cover to cover ;) And this is what I have now.
Day 1 : Arrive 7am Shannon; breakfast, drive to Rock of Cashel; lunch drive to Cahir Castle; Stay at Ballygloss country house (I know this is a bit of driving first day, but I'm getting an automatic and I think the romp around the Cashel ruins will be invigorating)
Day 2: Drive to Portmagee by way of Kilarney/Muckross (stay at Moorings?)
Day 3: Skellig Michael (weather permitting); drive to Dingle; Stay at Pax
Day 4: Dingle; Stay at Pax
Day 5: drive to Cliffs of Moher; Galway; Stay at Petra
Day 6: Galway
Day 7: Day trip to Inishmore; drive to Clifden; Stay at Ardmore House
Day 8: See Kylemore Abbey; drive to Clomanoise (tentative) or be tired and just drive to bunratty; Do bunratty banquet; Stay in SHannon
Day 9: Fly out of Shannon at o'dark early
