Rental car - one-way rental - rent in Dublin, drop off in Galway

I would like to rent a car in Dublin, drive to the west coast and then drop the car off in Galway and take either the train or a bus back to Dublin. Are one-way rentals feasible in Ireland? Does anyone have experience with dropping a car in Galway? Any advice or experiences are appreciated.

A one-way rental with only minimal fee should be common practice for any vendor who has multiple offices in the Republic of Ireland, including the multi-nationals like Hertz, Budget, Europcar, and Enterprise. An Irish company, Dan Dooley works together with Enterprise and Alamo, so their location in Galway is the Enterprise office.

I paid about $70 or 70 Euros as a drop fee for picking up in Shannon and dropping at Dublin airport in 2016.

I'm really late in offering a note of thanks for the quick replies to my question, but THANK YOU!

This is even later, but if anyone’s still reading, last September we did it in the opposite direction, rented in Galway and returned it in Dublin, using Enterprise. No extra 1-way fee!

I just returned from Ireland, picked up my Payless rental car in Galway and returned it in Dublin. Got a decent price for an automatic transmission, and had to pay 45 euros for the drop fee. Be careful because the companies try to "up sell" all kinds of liability, health, accident, tire puncture, etc. insurance that drives up the quoted price. Know what you need before you get in front of the very aggressive rental agents.
