Rental car- Dublin airport

My parents and two others need to rent a car at Dublin airport. Does anyone have any suggestions regarding which rental company is best to use. Smoothest process/most reliable?

Many here, including ourselves, rely on AutoEurope when making car reservations overseas. Have booked with them several times when flying into Dublin and the company has always been Hertz. Have found the rates thru AutoEurope to be cheaper than thru Hertz directly, and I especially like their clear explanation of the insurance options. Regular credit cards don't cover insurance in Ireland - only some of the premium cards do - so the insurance cover needs to be a major consideration when booking.
It's also easier to find a vehicle with automatic transmission at the airport concession.
Will save a lot of aggravation, plus save a few euros, by booking thru AutoEurope .

The last two trips I have used Irish Car Rentals and they have been great for me. Was there at the end of June, beginning of July and had two rentals, one the week before a conference in Dublin and one after the conference was over. Got a Mazda CX-30 for both rentals and was a great car at a good price, but then I booked in March also so that helped.

We used Avis when we rented there and had a good experience. It really is a personal preference. On recent trips (not to Dublin) we used Enterprise and were equally happy. Avis does tend to be a little more expensive.

I used Budget on our June trip to Ireland. I am usually a Hertz customer but Budget was much more affordable for the auto transmission car that I wanted. And they were fine!

We pick up a car next week that I booked through AutoEurope. I usually book through them. They are a consolidator based in Maine. This rental is with Sixt.
