I am going to be in Ireland for 2 weeks or more and trying to decide about transportation. I read something about it being better to lease not rent for that length of time. Has anyone got advise? I am also thing about leasing in Germany. Any ideas?

You usually have to lease for a minimum of 21 days. They are also more cost effective if you pick up and/or drop off in France. I used Auto Europe when I rented in Ireland.

My understanding is the same as above, that leasing usually starts at 3 weeks and involves a car delivered in/from France, which doesn't work for Ireland.
