We will be at the end of a month’s visit to Ireland and are looking for the least complicated transportation from Shannon to Dublin Airport. There are 6 adults in our group. We are trying to be cost-conscious, but value all recommendations. I’d appreciate your advice!
We took the train. Sorry, I don’t have more info than that!
Make your way into Limerick and take the direct train (no changes) to Dublin. Takes about 2+15.

As others have posted, I also took the Limerick-Dublin train twice in the 1990s. It's two hours. It terminates at Heuston Station in central Dublin.
Hi from Wisconsin,
Dublin Express has "premium quality coaches" that run between Heuston Station and the airport. There are stops along the way. I once took the Limerick train to Dublin...1973. If you must ask, No, it was not coal powered!
