Thanks in advance for any help! My mother and I will be visiting Ireland in late May. Our ancestry is from County Donegal/Derry area, so we want to go there but are not up for renting a car and driving. Can anyone recommend a tour guide we might be able to hire for a day or two to see that area?

We just hired a private tour guide/driver for Dublin through toursbylocals.com. They list all the available guides for a specific city and date. You read their bios, email them any questions, then decide to hire or not. In fact we also hired a tour guide to take us to Brugges for the day from Amsterdam through the same company. We found them at the NY Times Travel show.
