We were in Ireland from 8-24 May. We wanted to see something near Dublin that would help tie in all the history we were going to see for the next 2 weeks. We were lucky to find Derek Smith and Beautiful Meath Tours.
We reserved our Boyne Valley Tour about a month before our arrival. There were 4 of us taking this tour. Derek met us at our hotel around 8 AM. We visited Newgrange, Monasterboice, Slane Abbey, Hill of Tara, Bective Abbey and Trim Castle. We also had a wonderful lunch in Tara. We were back at our hotel before 5 PM.
