questions about Dublin hotel & airport transportation

I'm the stranded one ... I have almost everything booked thanks to many of the suggestions here.
We're staying at the Prague House in Galway, and the Adams TownHouse in Dingle. So relived that we were able to book something we like.

One quick question our last night in Ireland. We have two choices ....
1. Stay at a hotel right near the airport so when we get up in the morning we only need a hop, skip, and a jump to the airport ...or
2. Stay at a place in Dublin and then take a bus, taxi, ... or other transport to the airport in the morning.

I'm thinking that I don't want to spend my last night in Ireland at a generic airport hotel, but if transportation is hard to get then it's the better choice.

Bushwells has availability for the night we need.

What time is your flight?

As for Bushwells.....I know RS recommends it and people here love it but I had a disgustingly dirty stay there.

It depends how early in the day your flight is. There are at least five different ways to get from Dublin City Centre to the Airport by bus (let alone taxi) which offer near 24 hour service between them.

However if your flight is before 9 or 10am do you want to be getting up at an ungodly hour to be at the airport several hours before flight time when you could have a full day in Dublin the previous day, transfer to the airport in the evening then just stroll over for your flight next morning,
