Public transportation and timing questions

Looking for some input on our Ireland trip.

First night we’ll stay in Dublin. We tend to go a lot and see as much as we can in the time we have and travel by train or bus.
Day 2- train or bus to Galway and spend the night
Day 3- fly early to Inishmore stay at Pier House
Day 4- Inishmore (ferry to Mann?) and Pier House
Day 5- fly back to Galway afternoon and continue to Cashel for the night. (Considered Doolin, but the added time to get to Cashel makes it impractical)
Day 6- Rock of Cashel and Waterford and head back to Dublin.
Day 7-8-9 Dublin area attractions including Loughcrew Tombs, Gaol and Mary Gibbons tour of New Grange.
Day 10- Fly back to US
Question#1 - is a ferry to Inis Meain worth it? We’ll have 2 1/2 days+ on Inis Mor. Possibility of flying back to Galway from Inis Meain.
Question #2 - we’re thinking of going from Waterford to Wexford just to take a train up the coast. Is the scenery worth it?
A special thanks to David for responding to an OP about the islands. It changed our entire plan.

If Day 1 begins with landing at Dublin Airport, I believe there's express bus service from there to Galway. Look at Citylink and Aircoach for options. That might allow you to move up your whole itinerary and add to the end the time you're planning for Dublin at the beginning. The less time you spend in transit between places, the more time you can enjoy the places. The less time you spend checking in and out of hotels, the more time you have for other things.

We’re arriving evening, so the first night will be spent near the Dublin airport. Getting most of the day to spend in Thessoliniki before we fly to Ireland.

We’ll take an early morning train or bus to Galway, drop our bags at the hotel and explore the town before flying to Inis Mor the next morning.
