I'm looking for a good reliable transfer service (eg private char/shuttle) from Dublin Airport to Ennis? Does anyone have first hand experiences with any of the services? I see several web sites with booking engines, but can't find any practical reviews.
Just to be clear I am not looking to debate the advantages of renting a car, Train or Bus travel or getting a flight into Shannon, I understand all of that, but am specifically looking for private transfers.
Your hotel in Ennis is probably your best bet for references. It just might not be something that is readily available, given the other options you have mentioned. This is quite a considerable distance for a private transfer. It would be similar to wanting a private transfer to take you from Ventura to San Diego. Europeans seem to be more accustomed to public transportation for traveling such distances, so private transfers are harder to find.
Thanks, and well aware of the distance. There are a number of services I can find on-line that can be booked in the 600-800 euro range. Just looking for one that has recommendations. I realize that this may not be something most tourists probably use, but in the corporate world we do these kind of things all the time. They are expensive, but make things simple if you can afford it.
