We are 2 couples @ 60 years old planning a visit to Dublin in April. We are interested in a private intro to Dublin tour (2-3 hours) on April 19th. Can anyone offer some options?

It's not a private tour, I know, but the Hop On, Hop Off bus in Dublin is an excellent intro to the city. Ours had a live commentator, but some have taped commentary. You can take the whole circuit (about 90 minutes), then use it as point-to-point transportation and get off at what you want to investigate. I thought it was well-worth doing to get an overview.

I am not so sure of many private tours around Dublin City, but a great way to get around is the Green Hop-On Hop-Off Tour, which has both live guides and multilingual (Live is much more entertaining). There are several bus tours, but Rick's guides suggest the green bus to be the best.
